my best websites and tips for starting your collection!
This is the most basic one but gotta mention it, it's just the best place to get original band posters.
Just search for a band you like in the search bar:)
A huge tip with this one is setting up a saved search!
It's rare that I search up a poster of a band I like and there is one available at the moment of search. So... I set up a saved search! eBay will notify you if a item is listed to eBay that matches your search term.
To set this up just do any search on eBay and you will see a small heart next to your search that says "Save this search". You'll get email reminders! (You need an ebay account... but yeah)
Ok to be honest... I've actually only ever bought one poster from this guy so far LOL
But it is such a cool account to follow!!
You never know what you're gonna get...
Downside to this one is that first person to DM, gets it... I missed out on a Jets to Brazil poster because of this :(

Once again, only bought one poster ever from this site... they're a bit expensive but the prices are (mostly) worth it
Not really known for their music selection... I just like to browse their site for other stuff, just seeing what I can find!
One of their best features is their 'personal gallery', you can save posters you like and come back to them anytime just by making an account.

This one is weird because it's actually an estate sale company but they really only do music memorabilia.
The upside to this is that its an AUCTION and all their prices start SUPER LOW and if you want something that no one else wants, you can probably get it for like $5!
Only poster I've bought from them is my Belly poster... I GOT THIS FOR $5 YEP!!
I hope they'll have posters again sometime, it's mainly just been records recently. I imagine they rarely get estates with posters though.
Just follow them on Instagram or sign up for their mailing list to stay up to date with new auctions.
Record stores get mailed sooo many promo posters... and most of them just give them away for free.
You can always ask any record store if they have any or a lot of times I can just find their free pile in the store.
Most of the time this will just be your standard 11x17 promo poster distributed from the label but you can occasionally find some other gems.
My stack of free posters from record stores is insane... I probably have collected over 50 and I definitely do not have room in my apartment for all of them
